Hey, It’s Stacey here… and as many of our close friends in the wedding industry know, my priority is delivering the best in service and going over and beyond for our customers…and today I want to talk about something that’s becoming more and more common in the wedding industry: suppliers who are trying to do everything, while only truly mastering a little bit of it.

Here at Jellybean Photobooth, we know exactly what we’re good at. We specialise in photo booths and magic mirrors, and we do it brilliantly. We’ve formed an amazing relationship with tonnes of suppliers, venues and friends in the industry across Yorkshire, The Midlands and the North of England, and without blowing my own trumpet, I am proud of my amazing team and what we do. From the second a couple books with us, they’re stepping into a service that’s been finely tuned and perfected over the years – not one cobbled together from a bundle of products added on a whim.

We’re proud to be known as the go-to booth people in the industry. That didn’t happen overnight either – starting back in 2016, with years and years of investment, and the aim to do the best we possibly could. Add on a growing team of 14 brilliant people who live and breathe this stuff of who’m I’m truly proud of. One supplier pulled Natasha aside at the weekend and said “are you guys franchised because we see you everywhere”…. Actually no we’re not, we’re everywhere because we love what we do… and well frankly we are trusted so much.

Here’s what sets us apart:

• We have our own in-house tech team, dedicated to repairs, maintenance and innovation.
• Our graphics for our prints are made by us, tailored to each event, not downloaded from generic libraries or free canvas designs.
• We built and manage our own online gallery system online, with thousands upon thousands of photos, selfies and yep… bums!
• We have a showroom where couples and clients can try our magic mirrors and booths before they book and see them in the flesh, or even put together a design on the big screen accompanied with a coffee.
• We offer long-term rentals to corporate clients and trusted venues across Yorkshire.
• And perhaps most importantly, we don’t outsource quality – we fulfil every booking ourselves with our own #TeamJellybean – no white labelling, and certainly no generic uniforms!

Why That Matters for You

When a business focuses on one thing, they get really good at it. They notice the details. They innovate. They respond faster. They care more. Every single Jellybean booth is delivered, set up, and run by a team that knows exactly what they’re doing – because we’re not running off to set up chair covers or a DJ rig in the next room.

And Here’s the Thing (for Those Who Need to Hear It 😉)

We’ve noticed some businesses recently adding a lot of random extras to their services. Venue decor, cold sparks, giant beer pong, even flogging photo booths to new start-ups… And don’t get us started on the ‘package deals’ full of fillers nobody asked for. We’ve already written about that one in a previous post.

The truth is, when you keep adding more and more to your offering, the thing that should be your main focus starts to slip. Corners get cut. Customers get let down. (We’ve seen those corners cut too on social media!) And suddenly that photo booth experience doesn’t feel so magical anymore.

Here at Jellybean, we’re not about quick cash grabs or short-term trends. We’re not importing equipment from China and reselling it for a few quid to someone with a logo and a van. We’re in this for the long game – building a business that couples trust, with experiences that make people smile, pose, laugh, and remember their night for all the right reasons.

Other than our sweet carts (which we’ve had in our line-up for over 6 years now after taking over an amazing company over in Rotherham), we don’t do discos, cold sparks or confetti cannons. We don’t do photography, dance floors or even glitter walls.. We stick to the thing we’re brilliant at – and that’s booths and mirrors.

With a 14-strong team trained to deliver the best photo experience every single time, we’re not chasing trends or selling smoke and mirrors. (Unless of course, it’s our actual magic mirrors – because those, we know inside and out.)
