Sitting just outside the centre of Retford, West Retford Hotel has that lovely mix of being easy to get to while still feeling nicely tucked away once you’re there. The Grade II listed building is around 250 years old, with plenty of traditional character, landscaped grounds and a garden pagoda for outdoor ceremonies. Inside, there’s a mixture of classic and more contemporary spaces, so it works just as well for an elegant wedding as it does for a big evening party.
We’ve always liked venues where the evening reception has its own proper atmosphere, and West Retford Hotel definitely fits the bill. Magic Mirror and Photobooth Hire at West Retford Hotel works brilliantly because there’s room to create a proper little Jellybean corner without taking anything away from the dance floor. Add one of our backdrops, the prop trunk and a guestbook into the mix and it gives guests somewhere to keep disappearing off to throughout the night – usually returning a few minutes later with another set of photos and considerably more questionable props.
In the main function suite at West Retford hotel, we recommend setting up on the right hand side as you enter the main room. This provides a nice area for our photo booths or magic mirrors with ample space and an eye catching location for your guests to have a photo.

All of our documents including PAT testing, public liability, risk assessments and employers liability are all available on the “important documents” section in the menu above. Most venues including this one will have received our documents before. However if you are unsure please contact a member of our team. We automatically send the most up to date documents across to your venue 4 weeks before your booking.
