Woodlands Hotel is tucked away in landscaped grounds at Gildersome on the outskirts of Leeds, and it has a bit of a hidden-away country house feel despite being so close to the city. Originally built in 1871 for a local textile mill owner, the building has been restored as a boutique hotel while keeping plenty of its original character. The interiors are stylish and modern rather than overly traditional, and the Orangery gives weddings a bright, contemporary space that can completely change character once the evening lights come down.
